In thoughtful and loving care we have brought back to life a home from times past, turning this historic 1870's Second Empire Victorian estate into a luxury bed and breakfast. This beautiful fourteen room, three story estate is part of the nationally registered historic district of Kenton, Ohio, that includes a town square with quaint shops a court house, and theater.As our guests enter our home, the grand staircase greats them through the stain glass entryway of the Grand Trillium Inn, with all its original hand carved wood spiraling all the way up to the 3rd floor. This beautiful original hand carved wood also highlights, fireplaces, floors, moldings and archways throughout our home.
Grand Trillium Inn will offer our guests five beautifully appointed rooms that include two suites with private baths and three rooms with shared baths. The decor is relaxed and serene with an old world plantation feel based on the many places throughout the world we have lived and traveled. Our inn is adorned with many original paintings and art work.
Our common areas include a large wrap around front porch where our guests can sit back and relax, enjoy a morning cup of coffee, afternoon tea, or sip a glass of wine in the evening. The library with gift shop is available for our guests to browse through books, magazines, and local activity guides.
Our guests can also enjoy the Commander's State Room where they can engage in a game of cards, checkers, chess, backgammon, or browse books of presidents, world history, military aviation, and American history. In the parlor and living room our guests can relax, or get together and enjoy great conversations with new friends. Guests can also stroll in the gated backyard gardens and Koi pond. A full breakfast is served in the dining room to start your day which includes fresh brewed Kona coffee. Spa services are available.
